Renegade Boys

It’s difficult for me to pass by anything that mixes up two of my all time fave acts.Renegade Boys does just that,combining elements of The Beastie Boys and Renegade Soundwave
Mashups are like sooooo four years ago,but these are more remixes than mashups,and well worth a listen if you consider yourself a fan of either band.

Bonnie Parker

The Net is a bit weird sometimes.For quite a while now i have been planning a series of posts on bands that have gone ,or that you just haven’t heard from in a while.So far so good,i was going to do the first of these about Renegade Soundwave but instead it’s about Bonnie Parker.Don’t worry folks,there is a link.
Some folks might not know that Bonnie Parker wrote some poetry,tbh i think some of it isn’t bad,have a look at The Trail’s End.It’s probably even less known that this poem is the basis for the lyrics of the Serge Gainsbourg song Bonnie And Clyde.
Now this song has been covered many times,its also been sampled lots.The best of which was Renegade Soundwave’s Renegade Soundwave
How’s that for circularity?
