Mirwais is a Paris based songwriter and producer,he’s been writing songs for Madonna for donkeys years.Probably most famous in his own right for Disco Science….aha,your thinking that you don’t know the track,but if you have seen the Guy Ritchie film Snatch,then you do.It’s used in the scene that alternates between Tyrone being chased and caught by Brick Top’s henchmen and the hare coursing.
I love the dubby,loping feel it has,emphasised by the ska-ish guitar lick,and the big slabs of analogue loveliness are right on the money.Beautiful.
