I heard this years ago somewhere,and kinda forgot about it,then it popped up on the radio last night at work.It was on Mc Desmo’s Radio 2 show,The Music Goes Round.A superb show,very eclectic,and worth a listen if you are interested in Jazz,Big Band’s and the like.
I love the humour of this,the lines between St Goerge and his boss about the .45 crack me up,also the line about the knave and the stolen tarts raises a smile every time
